The search for a young mother, 20-year-old Brandy Nelson, who vanished in Detroit two weeks ago has come to a horrible end, according to Body found on Detroit’s east side is that of missing 20-year-old woman: report (msn.com).
Nelson’s family are worried for her safety, police said, because she suffers from mental illness.
A body was discovered late Tuesday near a garage off Drexel, on the city’s east side, after a search involving family and friends.
Detroit Police are treating the case as a homicide as the investigation progresses, but they have not stated how they think the young woman died.
In this case, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been identified or mentioned.
