On Wednesday, a woman from St. Louis County was charged with murder in the shooting death of her boyfriend.
Shaquavia Willis, 29, was driving her man, Christian Stewart, 33, home when he began facetiming with his ex-girlfriend and her child.
According to the charges, Willis decided to end the relationship, and Stewart followed her to her home, where they parked their vehicles in the parking lot of the apartment complex on Iguana Terrance.
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and then seeing Stewart run from his car, according to police.
They then stated that Willis exited her car, ran towards Stewart, and fired her gun while he was attempting to flee. She allegedly told police that she only stopped shooting because there were no more bullets in the gun.
Stewart was declared dead on the scene. Willis faces second-degree murder and armed criminal action charges.
