During Justin Johnson’s violation of supervised release hearing on Tuesday, a federal judge said he was “bitterly disappointed.”

Johnson ‘squandered’ the opportunities the court provided, according to Judge Mark Norris. Johnson is one of the men accused of killing rapper Young Dolph.

Johnson was arrested in January on a federal warrant for violating his supervised release agreement related to a prior weapons charge. He had his hearing for the violation of his release on Tuesday.

Johnson admitted to not being consistently employed, skipping mandatory drug screenings and therapy, neglecting to seek permission before leaving the jurisdiction, and being arrested in court.

The very last two violations are related to Johnson’s arrest in January, which resulted in him being charged locally in the Young Dolph case. U.S. Marshals apprehended Johnson in Indiana.

Johnson said in court that he is ready to move on from the case because he has “a lot going on with other charges.” For the violations, Johnson was sentenced to 2 years in prison.

Both Johnson and Cornelius Smith have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Young Dolph.
