A woman working at a daycare center in Salisbury has been charged with multiple counts of sex abuse and child pornography, according to WBOC.
Roseberline Turenne, an 18-year-old employee, had numerous photographs of children’s vaginal organs on her mobile device. Another worker saw the images on Turenne’s mobile device during their lunch time and informed the office manager, according to reports.
On her mobile device, she had at least six photographs of children’s vaginal areas, with the children ranging in age from birth to 4-years-old.
Turenne was questioned by investigators, and she eventually admitted to taking the pictures mostly on daycare’s diaper changing table.
Turenne purportedly initially told investigators that the pictures had been sent to her via WhatsApp and that she was not the one who took them.
But on one changing table, there was a red mat that matched the color of one of the changing mats in the photo.
Turenne’s mobile device was confiscated on the spot and will be analyzed forensically. She is presently being held in custody, with NO BOND on 18 counts, including multiple counts of child pornography possession and sex abuse of a minor.
