Authorities say a family member murdered four people, including a five-year-old, at a Casa Grande home on Sunday.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office got a 911 call at a house located near Rosemead Drive and Bel Air Road around 1:45 p.m.

When deputies arrived, they discovered four individuals were dead. Authorities believe they were murdered by a family member, 21-year-old Richard Wilson.

The following people have been identified as victims:

-47-year-old Richard Wilson, the suspect’s father.
-50-year-old Ellen Otterman, the suspect’s mother.
-16-year-old Rudy Wilson, the suspect’s sister.
-5-year-old Renaya White, the suspect’s niece.

According to officials, the suspect was present at the scene when officers showed up and was taken into custody.

He was arrested and booked into the Pinal County Jail on four counts of first-degree murder. A $2.5 million bond has been set for him.

Deputies did not provide many details, but they did tell ABC15 that the primary weapon was a knife, and Wilson’s sister attempted to call for help during the turmoil.

“The line disconnected during her call, and ultimately she became one of the victims as well,” said Chief Deputy Thomas.

He stated that deputies had previously communicated with the suspect and visited the home, but never for anything “of this caliber.”

An investigation is still ongoing.
