After a traffic stop on Monday, two women were apprehended and over 500,000 fentanyl pills were confiscated.

Martha Lopez, 31, and Tania Luna Solis, 30, were pulled over near Casa Grande, approximately 50 miles from Phoenix. The SUV driven by Lopez was pulled over for speeding, according to the police.

According to police, two minors were also in the vehicle.

During the traffic stop, officers discovered approximately 500,000 pills hidden in collagen supplement containers, along with a firearm and “a substantial amount of U.S. currency,” according to police.

Both women were charged with possession, transportation, and importation of narcotics for sale and endangering the welfare of a child.
