According to authorities, a 21-year-old tourist was shot in the back in Times Square on Sunday evening. The shooting happened near 46th Street and 7th Avenue around 5pm.

The injured male, according to authorities, was not the actual target of the gunshot. According to authorities, an argument between many guys erupted, and one of them pulled out a pistol and began firing, striking the 21-year-old. The man was standing outside a hotel with his family when he was wounded.

Then Samuel Poulin was shot in the back. The gunshot was visible but did not penetrate his body. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to ABC7.
