According to local sources, a shooting outside an Arizona mall sent people fleeing for their lives on Wednesday afternoon.

After a brawl broke out between 2 groups at the Tanger Outlets in Glendale, Ariz., five people were shot and taken to the hospital, including three children.

A group of juveniles were involved in an altercation with a man who was equipped with a firearm. According to Glendale Police Officer Tiffany Ngalula, the altercation escalated to a shooting.

According to Ngalula, a little child and a woman who were with the man suffered non-life threatening injuries. The child’s condition is stable.

Both of the other juveniles who were shot had non-life threatening injuries.

The names of the five people involved in Wednesday’s shooting were not released by Glendale police.

According to local accounts, numerous witnesses inside the mall recounted harrowing moments that drove terrified shoppers to run for the exit doors.

One gun belonged to the man, and the other to one of the juveniles, according to police.

The shooting was described as a “isolated incident” between the two parties, according to police. As the investigation continues, no arrests have been made.
