The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a recall for nearly 60,000 pounds of frozen, uncooked, breaded, and pre-browned stuffed chicken products that could be tainted with Salmonella Enteritidis, according to CNN.

The products were manufactured on February 24 and 25, 2021, and distributed to distributors across the country, according to the service.

The recall affects five products sold under three different brand names: Dutch Farms Chicken, Milford Valley Chicken, and Kirkwood, an Aldi store brand.

The service expressed “concern” that some of these goods may be in Americans’ freezers and advised them not to consume them.

Salmonellosis, one of the most common bacterial foodborne illnesses, can be contracted by eating contaminated food. Serenade Foods’ Hotline can be reached at (866) 873-7589 if you have any questions about the recall.
