A female teacher reportedly engaged in sexual relations with a 15-year-old foreign exchange student as her weirdo husband watched.
Kimberly Wellman-Rich is accused of having sex with a teenager while he was residing at her place in Louisiana. Authorities got an anonymous tip in January before investigating the teacher, an employee of the Lafayette Parish School System.
On January 22, an anonymous caller told the authorities that Wellman-Rich had a juvenile foreign exchange student in her home and was having sex with him.
Police said they interrogated the witnesses and collected information that led them to conclude that the husband ‘had first-hand knowledge’ of the alleged abuse.
Investigators also said they did learn that the pair allowed teen to smoke weed and drink alcoholic drinks at the home.
She was charged with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, indecent behavior with a juvenile, encouraging or contributing to child delinquency and contributing to juvenile delinquency. They set her bond at $72,500.
Jeffery Paul Rich, her husband, was booked on charges of accessory after the fact to felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. His bond was set at $10,000.
