Horrifying Video Shows Store Manager Being Slashed Across Her Face In NYC

A man casually walks into a small New York boutique, then leaps across the register to slash the lone store manager across the face, nearly slicing off her nose.

The attacker, who was dressed in a distinctive black Adidas tracksuit with purple and orange bands on the arms, was captured on surveillance footage shared by the NYPD as he strolled down Audubon Avenue in Washington Heights shortly after 3:40 p.m. on Friday.

According to the NYPD, he paused to put his face up to the window of Steph’s Designs before walking inside to nonchalantly speak to the lone employee, Desteny Cabrera, who did not even know him.

After previously having his hands in his pockets, he abruptly lunged across the counter, slashing the 22-year-old woman across the face, according to video first provided by the store.

The knifeman bolted from the store, stumbling as he ran outside before sprinting across the street.
