A 43-year-old actress who went missing over the weekend was discovered dead Friday morning in the Hollywood Hills area, LAPD officials have confirmed.
Lindsey Pearlman was last seen in East Hollywood on February 13 in the 1600 block of North Mariposa Avenue.
Friends and relatives of Pearlman, as well as the Los Angeles Police Department, were pleading with the community for assistance in locating her.
The actress “failed to return home and has not been seen or heard from since,” police said in a press release, adding that her family members were fearful for her wellbeing.
Police responded to a call about a death investigation at Franklin and North Sierra Bonita avenues around 8:30 a.m. Friday. The individual has been identified as Pearlman by authorities.
No additional information has been released, and the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office will identify the cause of death.
Pearlman was a television actress who appeared on “General Hospital,” “Chicago Justice,” “Empire,” “Sneaky Pete,” the “Purge” series, and “Selena: The Series,” according to Deadline.
According to the publication, she was a native of Chicago.
