Los Angeles police are investigating the deaths of three children at a Woodland Hills residence on Sunday morning, following a 911 call of an assault with a dangerous weapon, according to ABC7.

According to LAPD, officers responded to a home in the 22500 block of Victory Boulevard around 7:40 a.m.

According to the agency, responding officers discovered three children, aged 8 to 12, unconscious inside the home.

Los Angeles Fire Department crews declared all three dead at the location.

Officials stated the mother of the children is being interrogated in conjunction with the deaths. There are no additional suspects being sought.

The reason and manner of death have not been determined. The investigation is still going on.

There were no other details available at the time.
