According to police, a homeless Florida man with no arms was arrested for using his feet to stab a tourist with scissors.
According to NBC 6 Miami, Jonathan Dale Crenshaw, a homeless artist from South Beach, Fla., was arrested and charged with aggravated battery after allegedly stabbing Cesar Coronado, a visiting tourist from Chicago.
A witness stated that Coronado was asking Crenshaw for directions when the guy quickly attacked him, stabbing him in the arm before escaping on foot.
“I’m not from here, and this is not what I came for. I came for a vacation,” Coronado told NBC 6. “I just said, ‘do you know where this is?’ but as soon as I talked, the only thing he reacted was — he just cut me.”
Crenshaw told the officers that he was lying down when a man approached him and struck him in the head. According to officers, Crenshaw claimed he defended himself by pulling a pair of scissors from his bag and stabbing the guy twice.
“Why would I go and attack someone else? No, no, I wouldn’t do that,” Coronado said. “It’s like, how the hell did I get stabbed? Like, is it the right guy at that point? Because I can’t believe with his legs someone could do that.”
Crenshaw is currently being held in jail on a bond of $7,500.
