A Day In Accra, Ghana : Spotify Has Announced A Mini-Documentary About Kendrick Lamar's Trip To Ghana [Teaser Trailer]
Kendrick Lamar made his first trip to Accra, Ghana, during the release of his latest album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. As part of Spotify’s mini-documentary series, his journey was documented.
This morning, a 15-second teaser emerged on social networking sites featuring the introduction to “We Cry Together” while a bus with the words “oklama Presents… The Big Steppers” drives through Accra.
“First time in Ghana. I couldn’t even tell you what day it is. I’m just being in the moment,” he said in the trailer. “This life shit is all about an experience and everybody got they own different experience.”
Next week, the film will be shown for the first time. Spotify’s Cannes Lions Festival programming includes a performance by Kendrick on June 20.
