A rapper from Florida is accused of killing two people just a few minutes after making music in an improvised studio.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested Billy Bennett Adams III, 23, on two charges of premeditated first-degree murder with a weapon and one count of armed robbery of the structure.
Deputies said that Adams, popular in the location as Ace NH, stopped at the studio to record music on Thursday night and shot two men before speeding away.
Investigators said that Adams knew both victims and believed that the shooting was linked to gangs.
The sheriff’s office stated Adams and one of the victims identified themselves on social media as part of the Crips gang.
