After being denied boarding at Orlando International Airport due to her inebriation, a woman from New York rode a motorized suitcase through the airport before being apprehended.

Chelsea Alston, 32, was chased by a bicycle-riding cop in the halls of a Florida airport in April, according to recently released officer bodycam footage.

As he pursues the passenger, an Orlando police officer can be heard saying, “We’re going to have a bike pursuing an electric suitcase in the next minute.” The passenger was sitting on a scooter-like electric suitcase during the chase.

The officer approached the woman after airport staff reported a visibly intoxicated woman causing a disturbance while waiting to board a flight from Orlando to New York.

The woman claimed she had only two drinks during her ‘hours-long’ wait.

In the video, Alston is told she can’t board the plane due to her apparent intoxication, prompting a profanity-laced tirade directed at the officer.

Mamone, who had been pleasant and patient with the woman, watches her stroll away from the terminal before deciding to pursue.

As Alston rides the suitcase through a crowd of passengers, some of whom are heard laughing at the spectacle.

Mamone then decides to ride a bike to catch up with Alston, who was moving at a snail’s pace.

To get Alston to cooperate, the cop moves to the main terminal instead of the airport’s “secure area,” telling her that he will leave her alone if she does as he asks her to do.

Alston was apprehended – but not before assaulting the officer and causing over $1,000 in damage to his patrol car, according to court records.

She faces up to five years in prison for each offense if convicted.
