During a plea deal hearing for ex-Nashville police officer Andrew Delke, who pled guilty in the on-duty shooting death of Daniel Hambrick, chaos exploded in the courtroom.

Delke pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter Friday. He was previously charged with murder. Judge Monte Watkins sentenced Delke to three years in jail, according to FOX17.

Hambrick’s mother pleaded with the judge not to accept Delke’s plea offer and, at one point, pushed down a podium whie going in the direction of Delke.

During the chaos, Delke had to be rushed out of the courtroom.
