After allegedly throwing hot grease at a customer at an Arby’s restaurant in Hueytown, Alabama, on Saturday, the employee was fired and arrested. Watch the video above to learn more.

Police responded to a report of a quarrel between a customer and a worker at the Arby’s at River Square Plaza at about 3:15 p.m., according to the Hueytown Police Department. When police arrived, they discovered the worker had thrown hot grease at a drive-thru customer, according to police. The customer was taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham after suffering burns.

The employee was immediately terminated, according to a restaurant spokesperson, and the restaurant is cooperating with the police.

The worker was taken into custody at the scene, according to police, and an investigation is ongoing. According to WFLA, the employee was arrested on assault charges.

The restaurant was closed after the incident while the company conducted its own investigation.
