Atlanta Rapper Silento Arrested After Driving 143 mph On Highway
According to WSBTV , Atlanta rapper Silento, whose real identity is Richard “Ricky” Lamar Hawk, was arrested early Friday morning after driving 143 mph on I-85 in DeKalb County.
Authorities said Hawk was pulled 3 a.m. after he was clocked going extremely fast. Hawk’s white BMW SUV was not capable of maintaining the lane and was swerving around slower vehicles, the officer who filed the report said.
On Clairmont Road, the officer pulled the rap artist over and asked Hawk to get out of the car and questioned him to find out why he was driving so insanely fast.
“The driver stated that he was coming from Gwinnett and that people were following him and that he left from the club.”
