A video of a white woman launching a racist rant at a Black manager at a Ross apparel store has gone viral, with over 3.5 million views on TikTok.

The white woman, identified as Lisa Zohner of St. Louis by the internet, can be seen screaming in the face of a Black female worker in the video. Before rushing out of the store with her possessions, the enraged woman called the manager a “Black bitch” and a “monkey.” “You’re a motherfucking bitch, that’s what you are,” yelled the white woman.

It’s unknown what prompted the woman’s rage in the video. Following the confrontation, the manager made a statement, which was shared on her sister’s TikTok profile.

“Honestly, I want people to stop making excuses for their actions,” she wrote in a text message. “Everyone has a past. Please heal yourself. I’m not your target. She was racist because she chose to! That was her choice!!! No one is born to hate, you’re raised into it. I thank God I wasn’t raised that way. If you look at it, I’m a huge target. I’m Black, a woman and a lesbian.”
