Bob Saget, the beloved actor and comedian best known for playing on “Full House,” died on Wednesday of head trauma caused by an accident, his family said in a statement.

Saget, 65, was discovered unresponsive in a hotel suite at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando on Jan. 9. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Now that we have the final conclusions from the authorities’ investigation, we felt it only proper that the fans hear those conclusions directly from us,” the family said. “They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”
