Woman Reportedly Abused Her Dog On Instagram Live To Gain More Social Media Followers

An influencer was arrested in Georgia after being accused of abusing her dog in a Instagram Live video.

Brittany Johnson, 20, is said to have abused her six-month-old Jack Russell Terrier, Max, in videos uploaded to the social media platform.

She allegedly sprayed perfume in the dog’s eyes, and then picked it up by the neck, and claimed to have broken the dog legs.

The cops were called by many users to report Johnson’s behavior to the police.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Johnson, who is from Louisiana and goes by the user name ‘Lovely Peaches’, was tracked down by police at a Motel 6 in DeKalb County, where she was arrested.

Authorities say Johnson confessed to making ‘statements about hurting or killing her dog on her social media to gain more followers.’

There are over 147,000 followers on one of her pages, while another one has over 60,000 followers.

Following her arrest, Johnson posted a $2,500 bond, but is not authorized to possess or care for any animals until the closure of her case.
