Brittnay Wilson alleges a guy followed her for miles on I-10 before breaking her front windshield. She now demands that he be held responsible for his behavior.
On Friday, Wilson, an Army specialist, was on her way to drill class when the incident occurred. It started when she merged from Highway 288 to I-45, she said.
She stated the man yelled at her and rolled down his window. “I thought I’d lost him,” she says as she exits I-10 at Taylor Street. “But no, he pulled over to the side of me and got out of the car.”
Wilson stated that she was in fight-or-flight mode as this all transpired. To protect herself, she snatched a wine bottle from the man’s passenger seat.
“I went into his car and grabbed whatever I could find,” she explained.
When the man returned for more, he jumped on her car and shattered the front windshield.
A witness called the cops, but Wilson stated the driver fled before they showed up.
The incident is being investigated by Houston police, and the driver is being sought. He could face charges, according to reports.
