A lady was viciously beaten and robbed as she was going home from the bank on Thursday, according to surveillance camera footage.

The victim, Nimfa Morales was heading home from the bank when she was pursued by a gang of young ladies who tried to steal her handbag and then brutally beat her for refusing to let it go.

The woman had $300 in her handbag for rent and attempted to hold them off, but the two ladies assaulted her and took the purse and cash.

The victim has a fractured leg as well as bruises to her face and wrists, but the physical wounds pale in comparison to the mental anguish. She informed her family that she no longer looks comfortable in her neighborhood, according to NBC4.

According to authorities, the assailants looked to be in their late teens to early 20’s.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Long Beach Police Department’s Robbery Detectives at 562-570-7464.

A Go Fund Me has been set up to help Morales, reported KTLA.
