‘Night Court’ Star, Charlie Robinson, Passes Away At 75

Charlie Robinson, who played Mac on the classic sitcom Night Court, has died. He was 75 years old.

Robinson passed away from a cardiac arrest and organ failure caused by septic shock, as well as metastatic adenocarcinoma, according to TheWrap. He was being treated at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles

Over the course of his half-century in Hollywood, the Texas native took on a variety of acting roles. In addition to Night Court, he appeared as Sergeant Jeffries in Heart of Dixie and Don Robinson in This Is Us, as well as as a guest on House, NCIS, and Grey’s Anatomy.

Charlie Robinson leaves behind his wife, fellow actor Dolorita Noonan-Robinson, and also his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
