Authorities stated Saturday that over 60 individuals were decontaminated after being exposed to an airborne chemical release at a Texas water park.

After the mishap at the children’s pool at Six Flags Harbor Splashdown in Spring, Texas, they reported 26 people have been treated at hospitals, including a 3-year-old who was “under severe condition.”

The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office stated that it was looking into the cause of the incident while assessing air quality at the water park outside of Houston.

According to NBC, Six Flags spokesperson Sandra Daniels stated in a statement that the water park will be closed for the rest of the day as a precaution.

“A small number of guests in a section of the park reported feeling ill with respiratory irritation,” she said. “The safety of our guests and team members is always our highest priority and the park was immediately cleared as we try to determine a cause.”
