China Reports First Human Infection of H10N3 Bird Flu

China has disclosed their very first human case of H10N3 bird flu infection. The case, discovered in a 41-year-old man living in Zhenjiang, a city in the province’s east, was triggered by poultry.

According to the National Health Commission, none of his close contacts have contracted the disease, and it is a low pathogenic virus.
