According to CBSDFW, Daneka Black, 31, was charged with “Felony 3 Dog Attack Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury.”
Around 3:15 p.m., her dog reportedly mauled the child in the 3400 block of Timberglen Road, which is just off the President George Bush Turnpike.

The breed of the dog is unknown, according to a Dallas police spokesman.
Prior to the attack, Dallas Animal Services said it had no previous history with Black’s dog.
The dog has been taken into custody by DAS, according to the agency.
Black was given a bond of 25,000 dollars.
