Deputy Placed on Leave After Pinning Down Teen & Arresting Mom in Texas (Image: Screenshot/YouTube)
After an interaction he had earlier this week with a Forney mother and her daughter that went viral, a Kaufman County sheriff’s deputy is now on administrative leave pending an internal affairs inquiry, according to WFAA .
According to a spokesperson, the conversation began as a welfare check when several neighbors noticed the teen walking shoeless, in distress, and possibly suicidal.
