A anonymous 35-year-old lady was traveling with her 8-year-old daughter when she beeped at the motorcyclists and ATV riders, according to WLNE, who “disregarded two full cycles of traffic lights.”
According to ABC News, the woman informed police that the motorcyclists then encircled her with their off-road vehicles before yanking her out of her car, beating her, and drove away.
According to the report, the woman’s 8-year-old child were inside the car throughout the assault.
The event was recorded on mobile phone footage, which local television station WPRI received. A woman was spotted being pulled out onto the street by a group of individuals as the riders looked on.
According to the Globe, authorities in Providence and Cranston were able to spot 24-year-old woman, Shyanne Boisvert, using cell phone footage as well as security video from the area.
She was arraigned on the two misdemeanor charges Friday morning and told not to contact the victim, according to the paper.
According to the publication, Boisvert was jailed without bond for violating her parole in a January case that reportedly involved her impeding traffic on her bike and shoving a cop who stepped in to help.
