Officers from the Orlando Police Department were called to a staffing agency on Tuesday after a man assaulted two employees with a machete. According to police, one of the staff pulled out a handgun and shot the attacker.

31-year-old Oraine Mitchell Grant entered the building, very agitated, wielding a big weapon, subsequently identified as a machete. According to authorities, the assailant battled with a lady and a guy who worked there before attempting to slash them. According to officers, when the guy attempted to charge at the staff, one of the employees shot the attacker. Following the gunshot, the assailant fled on foot.

Grant has been jailed on attempted felony murder and other charges.
