The New York Police Department (NYPD) released a video that shocked internet users. It shows a man actually pushing a woman onto railway tracks at a city subway station.

The video shows an unidentified man donning a white vest and a baseball cap backwards approaching a woman, snagging her with both hands, and throwing her off the ledge onto the train tracks. The 52-year-old woman landed on the platform’s pavement before toppling. The attack occurred at 4:45 p.m. local time.

Several good samaritans rushed to help the woman, assisting her in getting off the track and getting up. Fortunately, no train was approaching at the time she was thrust onto the tracks. The police have confirmed that the woman’s injuries were minor, with cuts to her head and arm.

The suspect is still at large, and the NYPD has offered up to $3,500 to anyone with information on his whereabouts.
