Prosecutors in the Northern District of California said in a press release that Juli A. Mazi, 41, was apprehended Wednesday on accusations of wire fraud and making false statements connected to healthcare issues.

Mazi, who bills herself as a naturopathic doctor in Napa on her website, is accused of peddling “homeoprophylaxis immunization pellets” as a valid alternative to FDA-approved vaccines, according to The Sacramento Bee.

The lady also claimed her vaccines would provide “lifelong immunity” to the illness, according to the Justice Department.

“To encourage customers to purchase the pellets, Mazi allegedly exploited disinformation and fear by falsely claiming that the FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccines contain ‘toxic ingredients,'” officials said in a statement.

According to court filings, the lady apparently gave vaccines for childhood illnesses that she said would fulfill California’s school immunization standards. According to the Justice Department, she then gave fraudulent immunization cards to parents who filed them with California schools.
