On Wednesday, former President Donald Trump escalated his battle with Tech Companies by launching a series of lawsuits accusing social media giants of suppressing him and his supporters, which legal experts think he has little chance of winning.

Trump said he anticipates the actions would bring in a wave of complaints against the tech corporations, speaking at a televised gathering unveiling the class-action lawsuits, which was streamed on a website with a big “Donate” icon.

“This is the first of numerous other lawsuits I assume that would follow, but this is the lead, and I think it’s going to be a very, very important game changer for our country,” he said. “It will be a pivotal battle in the defense of the First Amendment.”
