Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Snoop & Company Win 2 Emmys for Super Bowl Performance

The Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show, which featured Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and special guest 50 Cent, won 2 Creative Arts Emmys.

According to a tweet from the Television Academy, the 6 Hip Hop/R&B superstars won the adorned trophy for the West Coast-themed show in both the Outstanding Variety Special (Live) as well as Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special categories.

The heavily hyped Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show occurred on February 13 as the Los Angeles Rams played the Cincinnati Bengals. The Rams’ victory over the Bengals was one of Los Angeles’ many victories that night.

It was the first time that Hip Hop/R&B took center stage at The Big Game. The musical legends conducted a medley of their greatest hits during the few enchanting minutes they were up on the stage.
