After seven years of marriage, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Nicole Pantenburg have parted ways.

The now-split pair confirmed their breakup to TMZ on Tuesday (July 13), writing, “After much thought and with great sadness, we have decided to end our marriage.”

“We continue to care and have respect for one another and share eternal love for our daughter and her well-being,” the 62-year-old singer and 48-year-old actress said in a release, referencing to their 12-year-old daughter, Peyton Nicole. “We ask for personal privacy for ourselves and our daughter as we navigate these new steps as a family.”

The couple has not stated when they intend to legally divorce or what caused their separation.

Babyface and Nicole were married in 2014 after dating for seven years. From 1992 to 2005, the famed composer and music producer was married to Tracey Edmonds. Brandon and Dylan, the couple’s boys, are the couple’s only offspring.
