Employees at a Nebraska Family Dollar store ALL QUIT over the weekend due to employee shortages and accusations of unjust working time and environment.

The staff left a letter on the door Sunday that said, “We all quit! Sorry for the inconvenience.” Even though store is currently open for business, it was previously closed.

Breanna Faeller, a former employee, said the compensation is minimal and they work extra-long shifts. Due to the personnel shortfall, the store is now open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. instead of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

New employees, according to Faeller, would quit practically as soon as they arrived.

“We got employees hired, they went through the onboarding process, they’d work for us for two days and they’d quit. They’d be done so it was just a never-ending cycle of training people and them quitting and we wouldn’t have anybody anymore,” Faeller said.

She also believes that if the store does not increase the pay, the employees should be treated better. If they don’t, according to Faeller, this will keep on happening.
