Detroit Fathers Saves His Twin Babies From House Fire (Image: Screenshot/YouTube)
A man, Ray Lucas and his girlfriend, Shian, went to the store and were only gone a few minutes before returning to their house on fire.
“The house was engulfed in smoke, I saw my mom and my niece were standing at the door and they were frantic,” Lucas said.
Ray Lucas was frantic because he knew his twin 18-month-old daughters Milan and Malaysia were still downstairs, sleeping in the basement – every second a matter of life and death, according to him.
Thankfully, both adorable little girls survived, but they spent time in the intensive care unit. Malaysia sustained severe burns but is now out of the hospital and able to spend time with her mother Shi’ann, father Ray, and twin sister Milan, who suffered smoke inhalation and second-degree burns.
