Authorities say a Georgia woman is wanted for battery after the brutal beating of another woman at a Little Caesars restaurant in Augusta this week.

Police were called to the restaurant shortly after 4 p.m. Monday due to a fight in progress.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the brawl occurred after the suspect, identified as Brittany Kennedy, 25, reportedly accosted the victim, Emily Broadwater, 22, at the establishment and yanked a chair out from beneath her.

A video of the attack shows Kennedy grabbing Broadwater by the hair and punching her in the head several times. At one moment, a child wearing a pink bow did appear to grab the victim while someone yells, “Move the baby! Move the baby!”

Later in the video, Kennedy is seen pulling Broadwater out the front door by her hair and tossing her on the floor outdoors. According to the video, she then stomps on the victim’s head at least twice.

Broadwater was left with cuts to her face, head, and neck, a black eye, and a swollen face, as per a police report acquired by Augusta Crime. According to the police report, she turned down being taken to the hospital by ambulance, claiming that her buddy would take her eventually.

The story went viral on Facebook, with alleged posts from both Broadwater and Kennedy revealing that the fight was over children and their father, beginning at a home and finishing at Little Caesar’s.
