The recall of pre-cooked frozen shrimp that may be infected with salmonella has been increased. The recall includes all Avanti Frozen Foods products.

They were sold in places such as Whole Foods and Target under a number of brand names.

The recall is linked to a previous salmonella outbreak that was supposed to have been resolved last month.

Previously recalled shrimp should no longer be available for purchase; nevertheless, due to their extended shelf life, customers, eateries, and retailers should check their coolers and discard any previously recalled shrimp.
