According to Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis, purported serial killer Billy Chemirmir has now been indicted on 4 more capital murder charges.

Chemirmir was found guilty earlier this year of suffocating several victims, including 81-year-old Lu Harris.

Chemirmir is accused of suffocating at least 18 women in senior living facilities in Dallas and Collin counties, but police believe there could be more than 25 victims. Chemirmir, according to authorities, would rob his victims before suffocating them.

Willis announced four new capital murder charges against Chemirmir on Tuesday.

Willis identified the victims as Marilyn Bixler, 90, of Frisco, who was killed in September 2017; Diane Delahunty, 79, of Plano, who was killed in December 2017; Helen Lee, 82, of Frisco, who was killed in September 2017; and Mamie Miya, 93, of Plano, who was killed in December 2017.

Chemirmir had previously been charged with 5 counts of capital murder and two counts of attempted capital murder in Collin County. Willis stated that those cases are still pending in anticipation of Chemirmir’s upcoming trial in Dallas County in October.

Chemirmir was found guilty of the murder of Lu Harris on April 25, 5 months after a mistrial. The guilty ruling came just under 40 minutes into deliberation on day four of the re-trial.

The jury was “hopelessly deadlocked” in November 2021. Jurors told the judge that one juror refused to change her mind.
