A woman has dropped her lawsuit against rapper Snoop Dogg and another man for sexually assaulting her after a concert nearly nine years ago.

According to court records, her attorney, Matt Finkelberg, filed a notice to remove the suit without prejudice in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Wednesday. The reason for the dismissal was not stated in the filing.

Finkelberg did not respond to a request for comment on Thursday.

It is not surprising that the plaintiff dismissed her complaint against the defendants,” a spokesperson for Snoop Dogg said Thursday. “Her complaint was full of false allegations and deficiencies.”

The woman, defined only as Jane Doe, claimed that Snoop Dogg and his friend, Donald Campbell, also identified as Bishop Don Magic Juan, assaulted her after a music event in May 2013.

Her complaint was filed with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing in December, but it had passed the statute of limitations for administrative proceedings.

According to the original lawsuit filing, the woman attempted to resolve the matter through private mediation, but the talks were “unsuccessful.”
