A homeowner in Mobile County, Alabama had a burglar in his crosshairs but decided to let him live and leave.

On June 5th, the homeowner, Derek Mosley was awaken by a security camera alert on his phone. When he finally checked the video, he could see the scrawny man trying and failing to break into the side door of his home.

And since that didn’t work, the burglar hopped on top of an air conditioning unit and climbed in through a bathroom window.

Mosley was armed…ready and said, ‘Hey, I got a gun! It pretty much scared him and once he saw that I was armed he was ready to go.’

The suspect took off so fast that he dropped his cellphone and tried to double back to retrieve it but was met with 2 warning shots.

Casey Reed, is known to local law enforcement, was located later and arrested for burglary.
