Horrifying: Man Chokes 27-Year-Old Woman Unconscious and Then Rapes Her Outside Her Apartment

In the middle of the afternoon Friday, a woman was viciously assaulted inside a Bronx apartment complex, where authorities say that a man raped her after choking her till she lost consciousness.

The rape occurred around 2:30 p.m. in a building on Davidson Avenue and West 190th Street in Fordham Manor, according to authorities.

According to police, the man grabbed a 27-year-old woman by the neck and strangled her until she passed out. He then raped her and fled the scene.

According to authorities, the woman also had lacerations on her nose and mouth. She was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Her assailant was caught on camera donning a black hoodie and carrying a red and black backpack.

The NYPD released pictures of the accused early Saturday in the hopes of apprehending him.
