On Saturday, a one-year-old girl was shot while also being held by her mom on the inside of a convenience store in West Philadelphia, according to surveillance video obtained by Action News.

According to police, a white Jeep pulled up to the junction and one of its passengers started firing, striking two people, including a bystander — a 1-year-old baby in their mother’s arms.

The baby was shot in the left leg once and was taken to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in stable condition, according to CBS3.

A 26-year-old man and another guy were inside the store, according to police. The two men retaliated by opening fire on the vehicle.

Police believe the 26-year-old man was the intended victim at this time. He was shot in the arm and is in stable condition, according to police.
