Deputies in South Carolina arrested and charged a man, Gary Chase Coble, Jr., 31, after discovering a stolen horse inside his bedroom.
According to the sheriff’s office, a woman witnessed Coble riding a horse down the street and then guiding it inside a house. When deputies got on the site, they spoke with Coble’s father, who stated that Coble was not even supposed to be in the home.
According to the complaint, when the father opened the door to the house, deputies discovered horse feces in the living room.
Then they ran into a full-size quarter horse was standing in the middle of the bedroom where Coble was located.
“The horse appeared to be calm and I continued following Coble into the bathroom where I was able to successfully place him into custody for the warrants,” the report said.
Deputies were able to locate the horse’s owner, who stated that he did not wish to press charges. Coble was charged with stealing livestock
