Tasha K, the blogger who’d been told to pay $4 million in damages to Cardi B for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, is taking her case to a higher court in the hopes of having the multi-million-dollar judgment overturned.

Tasha K’s legal team officially submitted a notice of appeal on behalf of the 39-year-old blogger and media personality on Thursday, March 17, exactly one month after a jury found her financially responsible over remarks she made about Cardi on YouTube, according to legal papers acquired exclusively by Radar.

“The above-named Defendants, Latasha Kebe and Kebe Studios LLC, appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit from the final judgment entered on February 17, 2022,” the filing reads. “Respectfully submitted this 17th day of March, 2022.”

Tasha K’s move comes after she claimed she couldn’t afford to pay Cardi $4 million, as previously reported.

Tasha responded, “I ain’t got it,” when asked by Kendra G of Social Society if she had the funds to pay Cardi B after she was held responsible for the three charges after stating Cardi had herpes, did work as a prostitute, and absolutely loved doing illegal substances.  “Listen, I ain’t got it. I ain’t got it. Don’t ask me for the money. I ain’t got it.”

Tasha’s remarks during the interview didn’t go unrecognized, as Cardi B went on Twitter shortly after she popped up on Social Society to criticize the blogger.

This is a game but trust imma come for everything,” the rapper retorted, before adding “BBHMM” – an acronym alluding to Rihanna’s 2015 smash hit “B—- Better Have My Money.”

Tasha has yet to file her brief stating why she believes the decision should be overturned.
