According to Russell Westbrook, the taunts of being referred to as “Westbrick” by fans have gotten to the point where it affects him, his family, and everybody close to him.

While on the road and at home, Westbrook has been subjected to a barrage of taunts for his inability to consistently produce for the Lakers this season.

The problem has gotten so terrible that he’s concerned about the possible negative impact it’s having on him and his family, and he vows to do everything in his ability to stop it.

When it comes to the taunts directed towards Westbrook and his family, his wife has also called on the public to chill it, claiming the couple has received death threats throughout the course of the season.

Laker Nation, it’s our responsibility to come together and support Russell Westbrook and his family. Threats and attacks on the Westbrook family are completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated. There’s no place in sports for this type of behavior, period. @russwest44
