After months of rumors and reports about her mental and physical health, Wendy Williams is finally speaking out about her absence from her show for a 13th season. Williams told “Good Morning America” that she is “comfortable” and “ready” to return to work.

“Give me about three months,” she said in a phone interview. “There are private things that I have to deal with and then I’ll be ready to come back and be free and ready to do my thing.

Wendy Williams’ talk show, “The Wendy Williams Show,” will come to an end after 14 seasons, its producers announced last month. Sherri Shepherd will host a new show in its place, titled “Sherri,” which will debut in the fall.

Filling in for Williams, who was out with complications from Graves’ disease and thyroid disease, Shepherd was a fan favorite.

Wells Fargo Bank has frozen Williams’ accounts for the past two months while she battles a variety of health issues. As a result, she has been unable to meet her obligations, such as mortgage payments and employee payroll, she said.

They say that I need somebody to handle my account. And I don’t want that,” Williams said. “I want all my money. I want to see all my money that I’ve worked hard for my entire life. My entire life. I don’t lie, I don’t cheat and I don’t steal. I am an honest, hard-working person.”

The bank claims in court documents that it is seeking conservatorship for Wendy because it believes “she is the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation” — an allegation Wendy denies.
